This is a really fun and challenging build. I just started bag 9 and have spent over 17 hours on it. I really wish I had spent the extra money to get the remote control build though. Can't wait to finish it and show it off.

A note from Nexus Brick team
Since 2018 we have been fascinated about the concept of a fully chromed model, something that would truly stand out and a unique finish that no other manufacturer has been able to perfect.
Why is it so difficult? There are three main issues with producing chrome parts. The first is that it's incredibly hard to chrome plate any plastic part. The second is that the chrome must be applied in such a way that it will be relatively resistant to scratches and will not rub off during the assembly process (or while handling). The third is that when adding a layer of chrome on a standard part, the part size thickens. This can cause issues during assembly with parts not fitting together correctly and not holding together.
How did we manage? Over the past 4+ years we've spent more time than we'd ever publicly admit on this project. Tens of trials, tens of suppliers and hundreds of failed batches. We are now working closely with a factory who is able to apply a very thin, wear resistant layer of chrome to plastic parts without affecting their functionality. We were in genuine awe when we received the first batch of VIP Exclusive "Intense Emotion" Hypercar models, we couldn't believe how perfectly this was executed.
What's with the limited availability? The process of plating the parts is incredibly time intensive. Realistically we probably won't be able to produce more than 20 units per month of any fully chrome model (at least for the foreseeable future). With that in mind, we will be reaching out to our VIP members first with a dedicated invite. The remaining units will be offered to all customers on a first come first serve basis.
This has been a long-standing project, one that has been very close to our hearts and a true ambition we've had for years. We're incredibly proud to say that this is the second model of the Chrome series that we're able to bring to you!

Important Information About Chrome Parts
The parts are all individually checked before being packed to ensure all surfaces that will be on the outside of the model when fully assembled are immaculate. Some light microscratches may occur during shipping (although highly unlikely), however nothing deep and nothing that will stand out when the model is assembled. This is one of the key differences between these chrome parts and any other chrome part available anywhere - improved scratch resistance.
The parts are fully chrome plated on exterior surfaces (all surfaces that will be visible when the model is assembled). Some parts are not chrome plated on interior sections (where pins/axles slide in) or on rear surfaces (where it won't be visible). This is normal and intentional to preserve functionality and reduce part interference, it is not a defect.
There may be slight color variation from part to part due to the variation in the original part material and original part color. This is normal, very slight and should only be noticeable when unpacking the parts. Once the model is assembled nothing will stand out due to color mismatch. Our model images are original, unedited images of the finished model so you can see the true results.
Please assemble the model with care. Do not bend any chrome parts as cracks may form. Do not use any cleaning products on the parts, soft cloths only.
You will receive the complete original model in red as well as a full chrome part pack. The chrome parts will replace the red exterior parts. When the manual asks for a red part on the exterior, use one of your chrome parts instead.

So far so good. Really enjoying the build so far. I wish there was a pdf version of the manual so I can zoom in on assembly portion to get closer look at where the parts line up. The printed version its sometimes difficult to tell. Can't wait to finish!

My original order got lost somewhere in the system but Nexus sorted the problem and arranged a replacement Item which has arrived within a week. In process of the build now, some pictures for rear section watch out with the gears easily to make a mistake.
The product I received was not the product advertised on the website. You can see in the attached photo they are nothing alike. When I contacted Nexus Bricks, I was told you're sorry and I could have a full refunded if I returned the product. I requested a full refund and the radio silence from Nexus Brick, I speaking to Dean. After I reached out again, another appology and I was told you were trying to find an Australian warehouse for me to return the product. Then, you guessed it radio silence again and nothing from nexus Bricks. I have the email chain with nexus bricks pathetic replies and lack of care. This company is a scam stealing peoples money and nothing more, nexus bricks should be ashamed of themselves but scammers have no human decency so I'm sure you'll continue to scam people. I have had to submit a claim through my bank for your scam to get my money back.
Loved the Zenith 720s, a challenging build but excellent quality pieces and everything was in the box as expected (no missing pieces). Had one mid-build issue with one of the ratchet pieces for the engine cover lift not doing what it was supposed to. Messaged Nexus Bricks and they immediately dispatched a replacement piece to me in Australia with no questions asked - excellent service. Only wish the instruction manual was printed in A4 (rather than A5) so some of the smaller pieces could be identified a little easier and the assembly instruction while good would have benefited from a larger printed manual. Managed with a magnifying glass.
The instructions are horrible. The manual is small print and gives me a headache after more then a half hour trying to follow along. It falsely claims to have 1:1 scales to show correct parts, but these are not even remotely close to 1:1 scale. The manual seems like it was supposed to be a much friendlier print size but was reduced down. Many of the pictures you can not identify attachment locations because the parts are just show attached without direction lines or arrows to the connection points. The completed assembly is always greyed out, no color, bit this makes it difficult to see where transparent parts have been added in the step because they blend in. The build has you go back and add parts to assemblies in small spaces that have enough room for parts to fall inside and are difficult to hold in place to assemble. They don't understand the build outward where all the interior prices are placed before a piece that goes over the spot. The brick quality is not bad, butthere are scratches and machine marks, and the occasional broken piece. The bags had a foul odor when opened. The instructions show the motors being attached but the wires are removed from the instructions! There are zero instructions on which direction to place wires or where they should be run. This is ridiculous for a weird assembly. This manual is very amateurish and cheaply done for the price point of these cars. The instructions are the base of any build and important. This manual seems like an afterthought and is not user friendly. Bricks are adequate. They come apart at time when rotating or working on the price and have to be reattached. All the gearing works which is excellent. Seen many of these where the gears do not function correctly. Haven't finished build yet as I have to keep stopping and resting my eye from tiny pictue manual. If this manual was enlarged so that the 1:1 part legends were actually the size of the parts that would help substantially. I have also found at least one assembly where they showed more parts being used then were listed for the step. I hope this get better as I go along.
I received my nexus 720s and let me tell you it is Amazing I love it so intricate and so many details like the disc brakes I could go on but I have limited characters but it's Amazing
I spend more time looking for pieces than I thought I would be. The numbering on the bags made no sense and was not explained in the directions more. Instructions should be enlarged and better explanations

I’ve really enjoyed building this model, but I’m not really happy with the finished item. This is because it seems to lose a lot of rigidity when using the motors i.e opening the doors and roof panels, and don’t return in the correct place. That is such a shame because it is a lovely looking model when finished. I may consider removing the motors and have just has a static model. Best Regards, Geoff D.
I still haven't received the instruction manual missing from the box. The model is about 3/4 complete. It is a good build. Most parts probably fit tighter than on other models I have done from a similar company. However, I have converted the remote controlled door opening back to manual opening as one of the components failed during first test operation. Hope the rest of the RC components operate satisfactorily when completed. Enjoyable.
Well constructed and booklet should probably be bigger but using in conjunction with down load of booklet. Disappointed that the booklet was with the rest of the model. All good now and enjoying though early in construction.
Starting step 9. Been a ball but watch VERY carefully as you build. easy to get the wrong part or pin a wrong hole. If it doesn't seem right stop and verify. This will save you time later.
So far so good great challenge from my usual builds. Manual directions are well written and easy to follow
Was a little rough did not think directions were very good for a first time builder no explanation of the bags which one you should open first also when picking out pieces and how many of each one, it would be nice to have a color code next to each piece so you know which color you’re getting the gray the tan and the blue all tend to run together and then other than the fact I was missing a piece and they are sending it now I have already ordered another car thank you only other thing was no directions on how the stickers worked
Everything great except the wiring instructions. They are the worst I’ve ever tried to follow. Now having to undo a completed model and try to fix the power connections. Probably added another 8 hours of work.
First I thought it was a scam, but I ordered it anyway. Very surprised when the tracking information was provided and arrived slightly late. Been only working on this in my spare time, but I am enjoying the build. I have built a few LEGO Technics cars and Construction vehicles and this build is very similar. I like it very much.

Just started it a day or so ago... the design seems spot on. The instructions are a little hard to decipher, an english version would be a nice add... I'm an old fella, built models all my Life was lookin for a challenge n got one. At least for my simple mind overall real happy with the purchase.

Solid and challenging build. I wish there were steps to test the motor assemblies along the way, but for the most part it came together very nicely. I might have been a little easier to assemble by following the static option instructions vs the dynamic ones. All and all I was very happy with the kit and the associated value.
