FAQ
❓ Domande Frequenti

Servono attrezzi, colla o pezzi extra?
Niente colla e niente attrezzi. Tutti i mattoncini, i pezzi del supporto espositivo e un manuale stampato passo-passo sono nella scatola.
È difficile? A chi è rivolto?

I am almost half way through the build.. very pleased with the product. I am enjoying build. To date I am two small yellow circles missing from suspension and I have had one piece which can't be used as it is deformed. Also one of the small clear plastic cog wheels has a chipped rib which catches under operation.. can I obtain the additional yellow pieces and perhaps two additional cog wheels. I can send photos if required.
Thank you
Regards David Hill
This is a really fun and challenging build. I just started bag 9 and have spent over 17 hours on it. I really wish I had spent the extra money to get the remote control build though. Can't wait to finish it and show it off.
So far so good. Really enjoying the build so far. I wish there was a pdf version of the manual so I can zoom in on assembly portion to get closer look at where the parts line up. The printed version its sometimes difficult to tell. Can't wait to finish!
The picture only instructions is terrible ! TERRIBLE !! How was I supposed to know bag 11 had all the general connectors. I’ll tell you, I had to reach out to customer support. How was I supposed to when to put on a decal…I’ll tell you, I had to contact customer support. How was I supposed to know to only use the green pages…I’ll tell you…customer support. The author had ZERO consideration for the end user. And don’t tell me I’m the first or the last to reference the pictures only.
That all said…outside of the frustration of guessing…the model has had its moments of fun and momentum to keep building. I’m probably 1/3 done, so hopefully I’ve reached the max of frustration. I’ll keep you posted.
It certainly has been a very challenging build for this 72 yr old. I finally received the large version of the manual and it has been a big, big help. Part sizes & colors are way easier to comprehend. I've had to build, disassemble, rebuild multiple times. I'm currently up to step 457 of 806 & trying to build the RC version. Unfortunately, I've run into another glitch as when I install the rear power block, the step doesn't fit onto the existing chassis. Fortunately, I've got a young, mechanical engineering genius neighbor, who's helped on these later stages. At times, it's been a frustrating build, but I'm getting there So far, the motors I've installed all work properly. So far, I've been missing about 8 parts (usually, the smaller ones), but between my own inventory, my 2 neighbors', and the local brick store, I've found replacements. I'm taking my time w/ this one, but hope to finish it over the next couple weeks (or at least before Thanksgiving). I've found Nexus Customer Service to be very (w/ a capital V) responsive, though it took 18 days for the large manual to get here. Wish me luck on the 2nd half of this build. I need all the help I can get.
Just finished the McLaren 720, took a long time. The instruction manual has lots and lots and lots of errors, I was also missing pieces but was lucky I had them in my lego parts box. I am also having trouble with the door closing correctly. It still looks good.
I had been waiting for LEGO to release a trike kit for years and now I don’t have to wait anymore. Overall this kit is excellent. Very creative. Except for the pipes that were designed to use flexible parts but the parts supplied were not flexible. Original LEGO parts may have worked better but with some modifications I made it work. I also changed the connection parts for the front wheel brakes to make them hold. Only one part was missing, the tubing that runs along the top of the seat. It wasn’t critical for the build so I completed the kit without it. At times the instructions were tricky to follow but challenge is good and I figured it out in the end. Delivery was pretty quick with no surprise customs charges which was nice.
I’ve been waiting for LEGO to release a trike kit for years but now I don’t have to wait anymore. Overall this MOC is excellent. Very creative. Except for the pipes that were designed to use flexible pieces but weren’t in this case, everything went together well. Authentic LEGO pieces might be better in this case. Only one piece was missing from the kit, tubing that was to sit along the seat top, but it was strictly aesthetic so not critical to the build. At times the instructions were tricky to follow but challenge is good. Delivery was pretty quick with no surprises from customs. Using regular mail delivery is a good idea for international customers.
Really enjoyed building the Zenith 720S. The whole build was a lot of fun, and the parts fit together really well. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design.
I’m taking off one star mainly because of the transparent plastic gears used for the main drive shaft. Unfortunately, mine broke within about 10 minutes of running the car. I replaced them with harder plastic gears, and they’ve been holding up fine since.
Changing the gears was definitely a bit of a pain, but I was actually impressed that I could take the model apart, make the change, and put everything back together without breaking any other parts. The parts are really well made and quite sturdy.
Overall, a really fun build and I’m happy with it. I just wish the original drive-shaft gears were made from a more durable material.
It's not a first time modeler's kit, that's for sure. The material and engineering is superb, and everything fits perfectly.
My only issue is the build manual. It's good, but not great. The kit sized manual is NOT 1:1, so identifying parts can be a challenge in some spots. Also, detail is hard to pick up because the pages aren't big enough. Someone at Nexus sent me a link to a google doc which was a repository of all the instructions in PDF format. That was a game changer, and it should be included (the link) with every kit sold. I had the pdf open on my computer right in front of my work area and could zoom in as closely as I needed.
I'm still struggling through the installation of the motors and running the cabling, but all the mechanical components were perfect and easy.
I'm already scanning the site for my next project.
This was an enjoyable, complex kit to assemble and took about three months but was not worked on continuously. And, most pauses were to work out many modifications without taking away anything from the original design. ZERO missing parts and even a few extras. Top notch quality of all parts throughout the build. I’d rate this one an 11 out of 10. Modifications included stripe/body coloring to stock (no paint), wheel and caps color, McLaren720S badging including mango brake calipers, cables run through chassis/floor to hide them, independent opening doors, clear headlight lens, body gaps filled with spare parts, tighter securing of body panels, separated body remote controls from driving and changed battery pack placement so the passenger seat could remain in place. The car features all work as advertised and the Nexus staff responded to emails quickly.
My original order got lost somewhere in the system but Nexus sorted the problem and arranged a replacement Item which has arrived within a week. In process of the build now, some pictures for rear section watch out with the gears easily to make a mistake.
Loved the Zenith 720s, a challenging build but excellent quality pieces and everything was in the box as expected (no missing pieces). Had one mid-build issue with one of the ratchet pieces for the engine cover lift not doing what it was supposed to. Messaged Nexus Bricks and they immediately dispatched a replacement piece to me in Australia with no questions asked - excellent service. Only wish the instruction manual was printed in A4 (rather than A5) so some of the smaller pieces could be identified a little easier and the assembly instruction while good would have benefited from a larger printed manual. Managed with a magnifying glass.
I received my nexus 720s and let me tell you it is Amazing I love it so intricate and so many details like the disc brakes I could go on but I have limited characters but it's Amazing
I spend more time looking for pieces than I thought I would be. The numbering on the bags made no sense and was not explained in the directions more.
Instructions should be enlarged and better explanations
It was a challenging and exciting build. My only complaint is one of the hydraulics for the doors was broken so only one will move with the remote control
I still haven't received the instruction manual missing from the box.
The model is about 3/4 complete. It is a good build. Most parts probably fit tighter than on other models I have done from a similar company.
However, I have converted the remote controlled door opening back to manual opening as one of the components failed during first test operation.
Hope the rest of the RC components operate satisfactorily when completed. Enjoyable.
Well constructed and booklet should probably be bigger but using in conjunction with down load of booklet. Disappointed that the booklet was with the rest of the model. All good now and enjoying though early in construction.
Starting step 9. Been a ball but watch VERY carefully as you build. easy to get the wrong part or pin a wrong hole. If it doesn't seem right stop and verify. This will save you time later.
Was a little rough did not think directions were very good for a first time builder no explanation of the bags which one you should open first also when picking out pieces and how many of each one, it would be nice to have a color code next to each piece so you know which color you’re getting the gray the tan and the blue all tend to run together and then other than the fact I was missing a piece and they are sending it now I have already ordered another car thank you only other thing was no directions on how the stickers worked
Everything great except the wiring instructions. They are the worst I’ve ever tried to follow. Now having to undo a completed model and try to fix the power connections. Probably added another 8 hours of work.
First I thought it was a scam, but I ordered it anyway. Very surprised when the tracking information was provided and arrived slightly late. Been only working on this in my spare time, but I am enjoying the build. I have built a few LEGO Technics cars and Construction vehicles and this build is very similar. I like it very much.
